Tai Sabaki is a term used widely in Japanese martial arts. It can be translated as body-management,  "moving off the line" of attack rather than to 'move against' the attack. This implies the use of harmony rather than physical strength.

Tai Sabaki is about how to rebuild oneself after a fall and how to move forward, how to manage moving out of balance and how to keep feet moving towards an objective.
